There “they” go again!

You know the weather is bad enough with the frigid temps but when you are trying to warm up in the evening in front of the TV and some bird-brained, scientologist comes on and tells Anderson Cooper that Psychiatry and Psychiatrist do more harm than good, then you just get more frosted!  Some of those folks really think that a mentally ill person can just pray, go to church, have people lay hands on them and voila, they will cured!  No way, no how, Jose!  These pontificating fools need to attend "The Family to Family NAMI Training Session".  They need to look at the brain slices of twins–one, who was healthy and one, who had suffered from Schizophrenia.  They would see the obvious loss of brain tissue in the poor soul, who suffered from Schizophrenia!  The mentally ill need to be encouraged to do their treatments, including medication.  Sure, there are side effects but most Psychiatrists will try to prescribe the newer meds with fewer side effects.  When I was in horrific pain from a bad disc, I had to undergo surgery but I knew of a gal, whose scientologist relatives talked her out of the same surgery that would have alleviated her unbearable pain.  I knew I had to take drastic measures when the pain overwhelmed me to the point that I had lost my sense of humor!  These people, who are truly ignorant about mental illness need to read some wonderful books by some very progressive psychiatrists; namely, Dr. E. Fuller Torrey; Dr. Xavier Amador and the beloved Dr. Wayne Fenton, who was murdered by a young man suffering from mental illness.  There are many "hero doctors", who treat some serious mental diseases and emotional problems.  We need to salute them and show respect for all that they do to help a very "sick planet" because I believe that many of the wars, etc. are the result of insanity.  I thank God for NAMI and I thank God for guiding me to a wonderful, progressive psychiatrist, who went more than the extra mile and made a miracle happen.  I have a life today because he cared and always, always did the right things.

Ignorance, like the flu bug, comes in many varieties and Hucklebee (nuckle-head bee) made a statement about the confederate flag.  He said that in Arkansas, if someone told him not to fly the confederate flag, that he would tell them where to put the pole.  What a jack-ass!  Why would anyone in the USA want to hang any flag but our own precious stars and stripes!  Too many good people have died or sacrificed for what that flag stands for, which is DEMOCRACY AND TOLERANCE.  What’s the matter with people like him?  It’s akin, to a german or anyone hanging a swastika up.  These symbols are symbols of hate!  These people have the colossal nerve to call themselves "Christians".  I don’t remember anywhere in the new testament that Jesus talked about exclusion of certain groups.  He also preached love, tolerance and forgiveness.

I guess that there will always be hypocrites and people, who try to hold back the evolution of the human race.  I believe that there is a God, who created everything and has a plan, which no hypocrite can alter or even try to deny.  I just looked forward to the day, when I can shine a beacon of light and help to remove some of the ignorance by teaching classes for NAMI.  I am not always going to be working in the business world, which I despise because I know that God has planned something special for me.  I had learned many things from business, which I will incorporate into my NAMI work someday. (3rd house stellium in Libra) 

Continuing the theme of bashing nuckle-heads (it feels good to spit nails); I must bash our govt.  An article in the New Yorker describes a secret plan for the govt. to monitor everyone’s emails and web browsing!  It was probably the same hypocrites sporting the little american flag emblem on their suits that conspired together to make that totally unconstitutional and autocratic decision!  Our democracy and freedoms are being eroded.  We need leaders that have "real moral fiber".  We need some help from another world and maybe that will be forthcoming now that there have been so many incredible UFO sightings.  It’s very interesting to note that usually with the increase in the sightings comes the eruption of volcanos and natural disasters!  Are these beings trying to alter the climate to cool it down in an attempt to save our planet?

I could just envision the Archie Bunker character sitting in front of the TV and reacting to the news about UFO’s.  He would loudly exclaim, "Hey Eeedith, the liberal media is claiming dat dere’s really UFO’s and little green men flying around up dere but I don’t believe dem stupids for one minute.  The meat head will probably eat this up but if the govt. says dere are no UFO’s, den dat’s dah truth!  You don’t believe those liberal media liberals, now do you Eeedith?  Poor, long suffering Edith would just stop in her busy tracks and reply, "Ahrchee, don’t you remember that the govt. also told us that Sadam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction!"  "Oh yeah, Eeedith, dem was dose weapons that are not normal weapons.  Dem is dose inconventional weapons. that can be transported and inbisible"  Edith brightened up with a thought and replied, "Oh, so that’s how those crop circles were made!"  Archie grabbed his can of beer and chugged it down, crushed the can with one hand and then he rolled his eyes around in disgust.  He glared at Edith and impatiently remarked, "Geezus, Eeedith, those crop circles was made by dem goofy liberals, who walked around in circles all night!.  Don’t you understand, des weapons can’t be spotted on the zonar!" Edith paused and appeared to be less befuddled and then she said, "Oh yeah, Ahrchee, I understand nowh.  You must be right again, surwah, because Sadum Insane had weapons of masss destruction but the UFO’s came in and when they zapped the weapons for us that’s what made the crop circles!"
